Children’s Church

The goal of children’s Church is to help children learn about our loving God and the take that knowledge and apply it to their daily lives. The children are taught about God through bible stories, crafts, games, music, videos, and other age-appropriate activities that help reinforce the lessons.

Two Children’s Church classes are offered during the Sunday morning 10am worship hour. One class is for 3 year old thru kindergarten, and another class is for 1st graders thru 6th graders.

learning together time

On the second Sunday of each month, we offer a time when the children are invited into the service from their classrooms and nursery to hear a message from the Pastor. This short message is a time when the children and adults can learn together. Often times the energy from the children energizes the worship service.

nursery care

Our nursery care provider, Jessica, cares for our children under 3 years old when parents are ready to part with their infants for the hour service.

children’s choir

Our Children’s Choir meet on Sundays after the church service. We meet in the Elementary Children’s Classroom for about 20-25 minutes. Our time together includes learning new songs, some sign language, and movement. We will sing during the church service several times a year. All children are welcome to join us. If you are a visitor, your children can join the choir for the day while you enjoy fellowship snacks.

young family gatherings

Young families are pulled in all different directions with children’s activities and parent’s schedules. At Covenant, young families make time to get together for fellowship and fun (sometimes it is Sunday mornings on the playground at church). They also get together twice a month for a family bible study, where the children play and the parents grow in faith.

covenant connections

The goal of Covenant Connections is to provide intergenerational opportunities. Themed events are held every few months and include a time of fellowship with food, learning, service and/or games where people of all ages have a chance to be together.
