Adult Ministries

The heart of the Church is its People

CPC has an active Adult Ministry program for both men and women.  Whether you are looking to plug into a small group or participate in our Ministry of Music you will find yourself enriched and blessed.

Women's Ministry

The Women of CPC are invited to join with other Presbyterian Women around the world through the Covenant Presbyterian Women's group.  This dynamic group of women brings positive changes globally through ministries such as Heifer International, providing food for the hungry throughout the world and partnering with the Presbyterian Church in Pital, Colombia to advance their Presbyterian Women's Ministry.  Locally, our CPW ministry supports Brigid's Path, which provides inpatient medical care for drug-exposed newborns, non-judgmental support for mothers, and education services to improve family outcomes. To find out more about this vital women's ministry visit: www.presbyterianwomen.org

Men's Ministry

Every Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM you will find the CPC Men's Group gathered at the church enjoying not only their coffee and danish but the fellowship of each other as they discuss everything from sports and current events to what is happening at our church.

Our Men’s Group also meet as needed on a Saturday from 8:00 to 10:00 AM to give of their time. Typically, you can find them supporting our church through maintenance of the grounds, planting flowers, carpet and kitchen cleaning, classroom painting, etc.

Wednesday Bible Study

Join us on Wednesday at 3:30pm at the church for a Bible Study followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant. This Bible Study focuses on different books on the bible to study for a 6 - 8 weeks. The books they have used this past year include Hebrews by Lisa Harper, James What You Do Matters by Margaret Feinberg, Luke Gut-Level Compassion by Lisz Harper, and Stage Setting of the Bible (a study of Genesis). This group will start back again September 2024.

Young at Heart

Since 2005 our Young At Heart ministry has been an active part of the CPC life for those over fifty.  Throughout the year they enjoy special events such as dinners, theaters, games, and sight-seeing adventures.
